Welcome to Dailify. These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Dailify ("we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the Dailify mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using Dailify, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dailify, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Dailify is a routine-enforcement app that uses Apple's FamilyControls framework to lock selected apps on your device until you complete your daily routine. The Service includes routine task management, OS-level app locking, gamification (XP, levels, streaks), scheduling, and related features designed to help users build consistent habits.

3. Screen Time API & FamilyControls

Dailify uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls, DeviceActivity, ManagedSettings) to provide app-locking functionality. By using this feature, you acknowledge that:

  • App selections are stored as opaque tokens on your device — we cannot identify which apps you lock
  • App locking is enforced at the OS level by Apple's frameworks
  • An emergency unlock feature is always available (with gamification penalties)
  • Certain system apps (Phone, Messages, Settings) cannot be locked
  • This feature requires your explicit authorization through Apple's Screen Time permission dialog

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Subscription Plans

Dailify offers the following subscription options:

  • Monthly: $6.99 USD per month
  • Yearly: $39.99 USD per year

4.2 Free Trial

Dailify offers a 3-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. Your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.

4.4 Managing & Cancelling

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings:

  1. Open Settings on your iOS device
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Select "Dailify"
  5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5. Account Registration

To access the Service, you need to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent the app-locking mechanism through unauthorized means
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use automated systems or bots to access the Service

7. Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

Dailify is a productivity and habit-building tool. We do not guarantee specific results. The app-locking feature depends on Apple's Screen Time API and may be affected by iOS updates or changes to Apple's frameworks.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DAILIFY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM APP LOCKING, MISSED NOTIFICATIONS, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS LOCKED APPS (INCLUDING IN EMERGENCY SITUATIONS WHERE THE EMERGENCY UNLOCK FEATURE IS AVAILABLE). IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease and all app locks will be removed.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
