At Dailify, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

When you use Dailify, we may collect the following information:

Profile Information

  • Name (for personalization)
  • Email address (for account creation and authentication)
  • Profile picture (optional)

Routine & Usage Data

  • Routine tasks you create and complete
  • Daily session completion history
  • XP, level, and streak data
  • Schedule preferences (morning, afternoon, evening)
  • Niche selection (prayer, fitness, mindfulness, etc.)

Screen Time & App Lock Data

  • App selections for locking (stored as opaque tokens — we cannot see which apps you select)
  • Lock/unlock events and timestamps
  • Emergency unlock usage

Important: Dailify uses Apple's FamilyControls framework to manage app locking. The specific apps you choose to lock are stored as opaque device-local tokens by Apple — Dailify and its servers cannot see the names or identifiers of those apps. We only know that you have selected apps to lock, not which ones.

Payment & Technical Data

  • Purchase and subscription history (managed through RevenueCat)
  • Device information and usage analytics

How We Use Your Data

  • Track your routine completion and gamification progress
  • Manage your app lock schedule and unlock conditions
  • Calculate XP, streaks, and difficulty settings
  • Sync your data across devices
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send push notifications for your routine schedule
  • Improve our app and user experience

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use your data for cross-app tracking.

Third-Party Services

We use the following trusted third-party services:

  • Supabase: Authentication and secure database storage
  • RevenueCat: In-app purchase management and subscription handling
  • Apple FamilyControls: OS-level app locking (data stays on-device)

Data Storage & Security

  • All data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption
  • Data is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS
  • App lock selections (FamilyActivitySelection) are stored locally on your device only
  • Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel

Your Rights

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction: Update or correct inaccurate information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data
  • Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications
  • Portability: Request your data in a portable format

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where required to retain it for legal purposes.

Children's Privacy

Dailify is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.
